Prohibited Conduct Policy

NYSWYSA requires all club-level staff, coaches, players, and spectators to adhere to a comprehensive conduct policy covering discrimination, harassment, sexual misconduct, and abuse:

  • Prohibition of unlawful harassment and discrimination based on protected status (race, religion, sex, disability, etc.)
  • Zero tolerance for sexual abuse, emotional misconduct, physical misconduct, bullying, and hazing
  • Protection from unwelcome conduct — verbal, physical, or visual — based upon a person’s protected status

Reporting

Concerns may be reported to supervisors, department heads, HR, legal, the CEO, or an Integrity Hotline. External complaints can be filed with the EEOC or state fair employment agencies.
